On the afternoon of September 1st, the 5th China Quality Conference held its eight sub-forums simultaneously in Chengdu. Each sub-forum gathered domestic and foreign dignitaries, leaders of international organizations, experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs to converge in Chengdu, the Land of Plenty, focusing on hot topics in quality. Discussions centered around exchanging cutting-edge advancements, sharing experiences, releasing the latest achievements, interpreting development trends, and composing a new era symphony of quality.
Sub-forum 1: Implementing Quality Improvement and Building Top-Class Enterprises
Sub-forum 1, themed "Implementing Quality Improvement and Building Top-Class Enterprises," was hosted by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, with support from its Social Responsibility Bureau and the China Quality Association.
Sub-forum 2: Focusing on High-Quality Development of Private Enterprises and Conducting Special Standardization Activities
Sub-forum 2, themed "Quality-Effective Growth of Private Enterprises & 2023 Private Economy Standard Innovation Week Sichuan Special Event," was organized by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, co-sponsored by the Standard Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and undertaken by the Sichuan Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Sub-forum 3: Deepening International Quality Cooperation to Stabilize the Global Supply Chain
Sub-forum 3, themed "Deepening International Quality Cooperation to Stabilize the Global Supply Chain," was hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, with support from its Legal Affairs Department, Commercial Industry Committee, and Sichuan Committee.
Around the theme "Assisting in Stabilizing the Global Supply Chain," Consul General Adelle Neary from the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu introduced post-pandemic trade, investment, and innovation-related measures between Southwest China and Australia. Declan Rooney, President of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health China, shared experiences on quality-oriented, end-to-end resilient supply chain construction to empower consumer health. Feng Yaoxiang, President of China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation, elaborated on China's practices in promoting stable and smooth global supply chains, detailing the first China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo. Justin Chen, Founder & CEO of TradeAider, discussed the service capabilities, innovative exploration, and practical results of TradeAider's global supply chain based on an explanation of pain points and challenges in global trade and manufacturing supply chains.
Sub-forum 4: Assisting in Building Park Cities—Highlighting Standardization Efforts
Sub-forum 4, themed "Standardization Work of Park Cities—Practice and Exploration in China’s City Modernization," was guided by the Standard Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation and hosted by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government and the Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Administration, with support from the Sichuan Tianfu New Area Administration Committee, Chengdu Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Chengdu Municipal Park City Construction Management Bureau, and Chengdu Municipal Market Supervision Administration.
